Kopters are small, yellow Kremlings that resemble Bazukas. They are in some of the later levels of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. They carry helicopter blades in each hand and can fly by spinning them rapidly. If either Dixie Kong or Kiddy Kong get too close they could end up getting hit by the blades. They also wear crash helmets rendering jump attacks useless. However, if the Kongs can land directly on the helmet they will bounce off to a greater height. In Donkey Kong Country 3, they are only in three levels: Buzzer Barrage, Kong-Fused Cliffs, and Pot Hole Panic. In Donkey Kong Land III, they are in more: Footloose Falls, Rockface Chase, Clifftop Critters, Rickety Rapids, Stalagmite Frights, and Ghoulish Grotto.

Donkey Kong Country 3/Land III

In Donkey Kong Country 3, Kopters are invincible and can only be avoided, but in Donkey Kong Land III, they can be defeated if the player jumps on their heads. They also defeat themselves by landing on the ground but will re-spawn when the Kongs aren't on the same screen as them.

Donkey Kong Barrel Blast

A Kopter with slightly different armor appears in Donkey Kong Barrel Blast as a rival of Lanky Kong. In this game, he looks more like a Kremling, having greener skin and a tail.

Trivia

• Through hacking, it can be seen that Kopters used to have standing and falling sprites in Donkey Kong Country 3. The falling sprites are also used in Donkey Kong Land III because Kopters can be defeated in that game.
