Blackforest Plateau is the third world of Donkey Kong Land III. It is located in the Northern Kremisphere, north of Primate Plains and west of Great Ape Lakes. Arich is the boss of this world.

Despite its name, Blackforest Plateau has a wide variety of landscapes. A waterfall is formed from a lake whose waters flow into the valley. This cascade feeds a river which meanders through the area. The northern region of this world has a colder climate.

This world's name is a pun on the German cake "Black Forest gâteau".
