These oddly pink [[Kremling]]s are rather uncommon enemies appearing only in levels filled with snow; they are first introduced in [[Skidda's Row]], where they are the main enemies, as the level's name implies. Skiddas attack by sliding into the [[Kong]]s, although this may not be intentional since Skiddas seem rather unbalanced on ice and snow and skid out of control on it.

Skiddas return in the game's pseudo-sequel, ''Donkey Kong Land III''. In this game, they can be found in the three snow levels, namely [[Black Ice Blitz]], [[Polar Pitfalls]] and [[Tundra Blunda]]. Skiddas are purple Kremlings in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. They are purple variants of Kobbles named for their action skidding across icy surfaces. Skiddas are one of the few Kremlings to not have a letter "K" at the beginning of their name.

In their debut appearance, Skiddas only appear in a few snow levels; they are first encountered in Skidda's Row, as the main and titular enemy, and appear in two later levels: Tearaway Toboggan and Lemguin Lunge. Skiddas either slide across the icy ground or across the snow-capped roof of a chalet; in the latter instance, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong can avoid the Skidda by going beneath the chalet. Like Kobbles, Skiddas are vulnerable to any attack, and the Kongs can defeat them with one hit.
