Skiddas are purple Kremlings in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. They are purple variants of Kobbles named for their action skidding across icy surfaces. Skiddas are one of the few Kremlings to not have a letter "K" at the beginning of their name.

Like Kobbles, Skiddas are vulnerable to any attack, and the Kongs can defeat them with one hit. A photograph of a Skidda appears in Dixie Kong's Photo Album, being classified as part of the Kremling Kreeps enemy class.
In the Game Boy Advance version, Skiddas, like Kobbles make a whining, high-pitched noise when defeated. Skiddas appear in more levels since Kobbles were removed from Tidal Trouble.
Donkey Kong Land III
Skiddas return in Donkey Kong Land III, where they have the same role and behavior as in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Like the previous game, Skiddas appear in three more snow levels: Black Ice Blitz, Polar Pitfalls, and Tundra Blunda. Skidda and Kobble have the exact same sprite when defeated, even in Donkey Kong GB: Dinky Kong & Dixie Kong, in which both enemies are depicted green.
