Bazzas live in underwater holes which they constantly swim in and out of in a straight line. They can also use tree trunks and large broken branches as hideouts, in "Sunken Spruce". If [[Dixie Kong]] or [[Kiddy Kong]] swims to close to a Bazza, the fish will bite the [[Kong]]. These enemies can only be defeated by [[Enguarde the Swordfish]], so most of the time the Kongs will have to avoid them. As revealed in the GBA remake, Bazzas can live in both soft and salted water.
In ''Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!'', Bazzas only appear in one level, [[Bazza's Blockade]]. Bazzas are long, green barracuda-like fish enemies in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. Bazzas live in the holes of the coral reefs, where an indefinite number continuously swims in and out of from one side to the other. In this regard, they are essentially the aquatic equivalent of Swoopies and Lemguins, which are other enemies with similar attack patterns. Dixie or Kiddy Kong must avoid Bazzas, else it bites them.
