The Gyrocopter, also known as the Funky-Copter, is a helicopter owned by Funky Kong in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! It is the only vehicle that can hover across the world map of Northern Kremisphere. It is required to access three Banana Bird Caves and to visit the Banana Bird Queen. However, in order for Funky to build this vehicle, the Kongs must have obtained every DK Coin.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, another Gyrocopter belonging to Funky Kong appears that Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong can use to travel to other parts of Crocodile Isle, replacing the original version's Biplane Barrel; this Gyrocopter is also used in the game's various minigames.
