The Gyrocopter, also known as the Funky-Copter, is a helicopter Funky Kong owns in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! Once all the DK Coins are collected, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong are able to use it. It allows them to reach all areas of the Northern Kremisphere easily. The Gyrocopter is required for accessing the remaining Banana Bird Caves from the overworld and visiting the Banana Bird Queen.
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, another Gyrocopter belonging to Funky Kong appears that Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong can use to travel to other parts of Crocodile Isle, replacing the original version's Biplane Barrel; this Gyrocopter is also used in the game's various minigames.
