Template:Level Tyrant Twin Tussle is the thirty-eighth level in the final addition to the Donkey Kong Country series, Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. It is also the third area of the lost world, Krematoa. In the game's Game Boy Advance remake, the level is instead the forty-fourth level, due to the addition of Pacifica.

Set in a cavern, this level is home to the rare foes, Kuff 'n' Klout, who will be major obstacles in the Kongs' path. Although webs from Squitter (who's playable for the first half of the level) or TNT Barrels can take them out, the twins will typically have to be avoided. The Kongs will have to study their attack patterns in order to figure out ways around them. Sometimes there will be bananas that will serve as guidelines, but not always. Other enemies here include Krimps, Buzzes, a single Booty Bird and a Bazuka.

Bonus Levels

  • After find the Koin, the monkeys, as Squitter, will need to pass the nearby Bazuka and fall into a small gap. They will be caught by a Bonus Barrel, which will take them into a Bonus Level. There, they will dodge some Kuff 'n' Klouts to grab many stars. Once all the stars are collected, a Bonus Coin will appear at the end of the stage.
  • Just before the letter N, the heroes will find a gap in the ceiling. They should use their Team-up move and throw a monkey toward the gap to land in a hidden barrel. They should blast themselves upwards with the barrel and avoid some Kuff 'n' Klouts. Using a TNT Barrels to defeat a wall of red Buzzes blocking the Bonus Barrel, the Kongs will have to jump in the barrel and enter a Bonus Level. In this special stage, they will need to avoid some Kuff 'n' Klouts while reaching the end of the area. Once they get there, they will find a Bonus Coin.
  • At the end of the level, the heroes should pass the flagpole and jump upwards to land in a hidden Bonus Barrel. It will take them to a Bonus Level, where they will need to collect fifteen green bananas while dodging a Kuff 'n' Klout. If they get enough bananas safely, they will find a Bonus Coin to the right.

DK Coin

  • When the Kongs meet the first Krimp, they should use their [Team-up] move and throw a monkey (preferably Dixie) onto a hidden platform above a lone banana in the ceiling. Once in this area, they will find an Animal Barrel with Squitter and enter it to turn into the Animal Buddy. Now playing as the spider, the monkeys will need to head a little bit past the letter O to find another gap in the ceiling. If Squitter builds his web platforms to reach this high area, he will find the Koin with the DK Coin. Though Squitter will not be able to defeat the enemy to get the coin, steel barrels shot by a nearby Bazuka will bounce from the wall to him. Using some web platforms to guide the barrels to the Koin, a barrel should soon hit the enemy. This will defeat him, thus giving Squitter and the Kongs the DK Coin.
