Rambi the Rhinoceros, the first Animal Buddy

Animal Buddies are different types of creatures that aid Donkey Kong and his friends. Each have their own ability. Rambi the Rhinoceros has amazing brute strength while Enguarde the Swordfish's speed in the water really helps in difficult situations. In Donkey Kong Country animals can be found inside a barrel with their face printed on it. In Donkey Kong Country 3, after passing a specific sign the animal Kiddy Kong or Dixie Kong is riding on will turn into a coin or bananas.
