Orange Skittlers try to attack [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]] by drooping down from a thread. Once it reaches the ground, the enemy will land and proceed to crawl towards the [[Kong]]s. Purple Skittlers, however, do not drop on the open ground unless forced with a stomp attack, and after it falls from its thread, it will start to walk across the area, eventually ending up in a pit. A few purple Skittlers hanging directly above a pit will immediately perish from a stomp attack, instead of falling down.
