Super Kong is a Kong identical to Donkey Kong that made its first appearance in the Wii game Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Super Kong starts a Beach level.

Super Kong appears only in the Super Guide mode. If the player loses eight lives in a level, a Tutorial Pig appears and asks Donkey Kong if he wants to activate Super Guide. If Donkey Kong says yes, then Super Kong appears and completes the level for him.

While Super Kong is traveling throughout the level, anything that he collects such as bananas or other items will not count towards the player's total. He also does not access any secret paths or that lead him into hidden parts of the level like Bonus Levels.

Super Diddy Kong, a Kong identical to Diddy Kong also appears, and alongside Super Kong when Super Kong breaks a DK Barrel.

All of their powers and abilities are identical to their counterparts, along with their stats.

  • Super Kong resembles Eddie the Mean Old Yeti, a character that appeared in the Donkey Kong Country (television series).
  • Super Kong may have been inspired by one of Donkey Kong's color schemes in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with the exception of the color of his tie, with it being blue instead of red. It has been mentioned that the choice for Super Kong's tie to be blue instead of red was caused by the sunset levels of the game, which have Donkey Kong in silhouette and, therefore, required Super Kong's tie, as the only thing shown in those levels, to be a different color to differentiate the two.
    • Additionally, Super Kong looks a lot like Fire Mini Donkey Kong. This may have also been an inspiration for Super Kong's color scheme.
