Mole Guards are mole-like enemies from Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are Mole Miners who act as the security for the mines, making sure that no intruders break in and interrupt their mining operation, but during the events of the game they were hypnotized by the Tiki Tak Tribe and forced to be on the lookout for Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong to make sure they wouldn't interfere with the Tiki's banana stealing operation which was being carried out by Mole Miners.

Attacks

Mole Guards only appear on minecart levels riding alongside the Kongs and attack by throwing bombs at them. These bombs don't actually hit the Kongs but rather they destroy parts of the minecart tracks to make sure the Kongs fall to their doom, however the gaps created in the tracks are easy to jump over if timed right.
