Cling Cobras are cobra-like enemies in Donkey Kong Country Returns, found in the Forest world. They cling on to grassy areas, waiting to slither into Donkey and Diddy Kong. This makes it harder for the Kongs to advance. They may even make the two Kongs lose their balance, causing them to fall down from the grassy area they were holding onto. Their entire body appears to be yellow except for their brown eyes and they possess big sharp teeth in their mouth.

Not to be confused with Wiggler.

Wiggles[1], originally known as Cling Cobras[2], are cobra-like enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns and its Nintendo 3DS remake, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They only appear in the level Clingy Swingy.

Wiggles have a yellow body and an orange stripe spanning across their back. They have red eyes and a set of sharp teeth that match the yellow color of their body.

Wiggles' main characteristic is to cling on to a grass patch, which they repeatedly move across. If a Wiggle slithers into Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, they lose a heart point. This sometimes also causes the Kongs to lose their balance and fall off the patch of grass. The Kongs can defeat a Wiggle by jumping on it.

Cling Cobra's name is derived from king cobra, a type of real-world venomous snake.
