Two Toothberries.

Toothberries are small, round creatures that appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns. These foes appear in very few levels, but are most prominent in the level Itty Bitty Biters.

They attack by jumping up and biting the Kongs. In Itty Bitty Bitters, they come out of walls, statues and floors too. There are two kinds of Toothberries: blue and red. The difference is that the reds are more aggressive than the blues, and jump higher. Another version, called Cageberries, are trapped in cages. The name "Toothberry" comes from "tooth" (as they bite the Kongs) and "berry" (because they are small and the colors of common berries).
