Blowhole Bound
Donkey Kong attacks some Squidlys at Blowhole Bound.

Squidlys[1], or Squiddles[2][page number needed], are enemies first appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They serve as projectiles that are infinitely shot out of Squid Shots and have a stronger relative species referred to as Electrasquids. They move in a straight line in the direction the Squid Shot is pointing at, until they hit a wall where they will be defeated. Although Squidlys move slowly through the air, they can harm the Kongs upon contact, similarly to Bullet Bills from the Mario franchise. Squidlys can be defeated by any of Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong's attacks, but they usually crash into a wall where they are destroyed.
