Squidlys[1], or Squiddles[2][page number needed], are enemies first appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They serve as projectiles that are infinitely shot out of Squid Shots and have a stronger relative species referred to as Electrasquids. They move in a straight line in the direction the Squid Shot is pointing at, until they hit a wall where they will be defeated. Although Squidlys move slowly through the air, they can harm the Kongs upon contact, similarly to Bullet Bills from the Mario franchise.
