Squidlies are enemies which first appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns that are shot out of Turrets, and their sub-species are Electrasquids. They can be defeated by any of Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong's attacks (though it is not recommended to roll into one from the front or pointy end) and can mainly be defeated by being hit against a wall. They move in a straight line in the direction the Turret is pointing at. One can see a Squidly's eyes peeking out of the Turret just before it is fired.
