Squidlies are enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns that are shot out of Turrets, and their sub-species are Electrasquids. They can be defeated by any of Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong's attacks and can mainly be defeated by being hit against a wall. They move in a straight line in the direction the Turret is pointing at. One can see a Squidly's eyes peeking out of the Turret just before it is fired. According to its concept artwork, a crab controls the Turret, maybe either Snaps or Pinchley. They can be considered the Donkey Kong equivalent of Bullet Bills, because they are shot out of cannons in a straight direction.
