Squeeklys[1] (also spelled Squeeklies[2]) are purple bat creatures that inhabit in Donkey Kong Island and first appear in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. Squeeklys are semi-common enemies that appear in some levels of the Cave and the Forest. For Donkey Kong and Diddy, these baddies are more of an obstacle than an enemy, as all they do is fly straight forward. The Kongs can defeat a Squeekly by jumping on it or throwing an object like a barrel at it.
