Rawks[1] are a larger, red-feathered variant of Awks. They appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns, and the Nintendo 3DS remake Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. Their name comes from the bird, hawk.
Unlike Awks, Rawks often tend to frown. They also have purple talons and yellow feathers on their back. Rawks can be found in the Jungle world, the Ruins, and the Golden Temple.
