Earlier in Cotton Top Cove, Blue was sad, believing that nobody remembered his birthday. Later in K3, it is revealed that Blizzard got a present for Blue's birthday. However, Blizzard is unable to visit because they both live too far away. He requests Dixie and Kiddy Kong to deliver the present for him.
Back in Blue's Beach Hut, the Kongs offer the present to Blue, who happily receives it. He unwraps it and finds a bowling ball. Blue says that he does not need the item, so he allows the Kongs to keep it.
