Template:Species-infobox Awks[1] are blue-colored parrot enemies who appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. They first appeared in the Jungle area of Donkey Kong Island. Awks basically move around from left to right, posing a very little threat to Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. However, they can quite often be bounced off by the Kongs in order to reach higher platforms and obtain important items such as Coins and Puzzle Pieces. They can be defeated with any attack method.
