Pinchleys are enemies appearing in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are basic red crabs, except they have a blue and white bandana. Pinchleys first appear in the Beach area, the third level of the Ruins area, Mast Blast, and later in the Cliff area. Pinchleys move from side to side and can only hurt Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong if they come in contact with one. In addition, they move quicker than their weaker variant, the Snaps. Trivia
- In the Concept artwork of Pinchley, it can be seen next an unknown red crab with a sword replacing it's hand. However, this specific crab does not appear in any of the levels in the game.
