Template:Species-infobox Spore Chomps[citation needed] are a variety of Chomp which first appear in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are yellow carnivorous plant enemies with holes on their bodies. Their first appearance is in the second level of the Forest world, Clingy Swingy.
Spore Chomps attack by shooting spores out of the various holes in its body that can damage the player(s). They are the weakest member of the Chomp family, and can be defeated with basic attacks such as jumping or throwing a barrel at them. They can only be defeated by barrels when they are on the ceiling, however.
