Krooks[1] are Kremlings encountered in several levels of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. Krooks wear large red, button-up trench coats, and possess hooks for hands.

Krooks attack by hurling their dangerous appendages at any nearby monkeys, although they only use one hand for throwing hooks. If the hooks miss, they will boomerang back. Krooks can be defeated with a simple jump on the head or by hitting them with any kind of projectile. They are usually found in caves and castles, but will occasionally appear in other levels. Most Krooks usually stay in one place, but a few do move around at a set path.

Krooks look like a normal Kritter, but they are more scaly, possess bigger feet, and have rounder eyes without cats-eye slits like Kritters have.
