They only appear in the amusement ride levels of [[Krazy Kremland]], namely "[[Target Terror]]" and "[[Rickety Race]]". Klanks are similar to [[Kutlass]]es in look, but to [[Krash]]es in manner, as they wildly careen along the rickety tracks on [[Roller Coaster]]s, trying to drop [[barrel]]s at the [[Kong]]s to knock them off of their carts. This way of attack only is seen in "Target Terror". In "Rickety Race", all 10 Klanks in the level must be defeated before reaching the finish area in order to obtain that level's [[DK Coin]], which is not mandatory.
