A Ghost Barrel is a ghastly type of barrel found in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, though they only appear in the level Creepy Caverns in KAOS Kore. They also appear in the game's pseudo-sequel, Donkey Kong Land III, and appear in Stalagmite Frights, Haunted Hollows, and Ghoulish Grotto.

Ghost Barrels disappear and reappear every few seconds and act like a Blast Barrel. The direction the Ghost Barrel is looking determines where they will fire the Kongs, which can help them reach higher areas or make them fly into enemies. They are somewhat similar to the Ropes in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.
