The Turbo Ski

The Turbo Ski, also spelled Turbo-Ski[1], is one of four vehicles leased by Funky Kong at his vehicle rental service in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is the third vehicle that can be used, because while Funky would like to build the Turbo Ski for Dixie and Kiddy Kong, he is lacking two crucial pieces: the skis, but once the Kongs obtain both and give them to Funky, he uses them to complete the Turbo Ski, allowing the Kongs to travel with it around the Northern Kremisphere map. The Turbo Ski's main feature is its ability to go up waterfalls, if the player holds Y Button button, opening access to nearly every other area, including K3, Kaos Kore, and a secret cave, "Undercover Cove". The only thing restricting the Turbo Ski from going everywhere on the map is flight, something that only Funky's next vehicle, the Gyrocopter, can do.

In the Game Boy Advance version, the Turbo Ski is used in the Race minigame of Funky's Rentals, where Dixie and Kiddy have to race against several Kremlings. During the main adventure, going up a waterfall with a Turbo Ski instead requires the player to hold the B Button button.
