Template:Levelbox Koco Channel is the fifth level in Donkey Kong Land III and of the first world, Cape Codswallop, where it appears in the south-west portion. Koco Channel succeeds Total Rekoil and precedes Liftshaft Lottery. This level's name is a play on the French fashion designer Coco Chanel.
Koco Channel takes place at a river bank, with less vegetation than the riverbanks from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. In the level, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong travel on land and through the narrow underwater tunnels, which feature many Kocos. The land portion consists of small conifers, mushrooms and lichen, which suggests that its world, Cape Codswallop, takes place in a mediterranean climate zone.
Outside the water, on the banks, the Kongs encounter a few Sneeks and Knik-Knaks. During the second half of Koco Channel, the Kongs transform into the Animal Friend, Squitter. Squitter is incapable of swimming, and he can only cross the river gaps by creating temporary web platforms and jumping from them.

At the beginning of the level, the heroes need to jump into the river and swim through a narrow passage. At the end of the long passage, they have to jump out of the water and head east across the wet land. Grabbing the letter O and defeating a few Sneeks, they must travel across the straight path until they find a deeper part of the river. Jumping into it, they swim through another small passage under a thick land mass. At the end of the underwater pathway, they find the Star Barrel. At this point, they head out of the water and then into a barrel to shoot to a high-up area. Crossing the area, they fall down from a ledge to land in an Animal Barrel. This turns them into Squitter, who must then cross a small gap. Near the end of this enemy-infested pathway, the spider finds a No Animal Sign, which turns him back into the Kongs. After that is done, the heroes have to continue down the path and swim through a rather deep path of the river, avoiding Kocos. At the end of the river, they hop out of the water an climb up a few ledges to find a flagpole. Touching this flagpole ends the level.
