The monkeys must act fast and jump over the house, grabbing the letter K. After this, the heroes need to cross a few small abysses. Jumping at the wrong time in an area like this, and the Kongs might land right into a pit. If they get through this area, though, the monkeys enter a more flattened area, where they need to defeat some Krimps with the heavy toboggan. Black Ice Blitz is the tenth level of Donkey Kong Land III and the fourth level in Primate Plains, where it is located in the northern region. It is very similar to Tearaway Toboggan of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. The Kongs ride a toboggan through a series of snowy plateaus, jumping over pits and chasms, as well as riding on snow-capped chalets.
