Barnacle on his island.

Barnacle is apparently the eldest member of the Brothers Bear, and first appears in the game Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. He lives on an island in the middle of Lake Orangatanga, which Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong can reach by swimming any time after they've cleared Doorstop Dash.

Barnacle is in possession of a Banana Bird, but he is not very fond of it. However, he loves to collect seashells. If the Kongs give Barnacle the Shell that Bazaar sells at his general store, he will trade them his Banana Bird in exchange for it.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 3, Barnacle is relocated to Pacifica and can be found in a pirate ship right after Dingy Drain-Pipe. Bachelor ends up taking over the island that Barnacle was originally on in Lake Orangatanga.

Barnacle reappears in the Japan-exclusive Donkey Konga title, Donkey Konga 3: Tabehōdai! Haru Mogitate 50 Kyoku.
