Bachelor
Bachelor is a member of the Brothers Bear who appears exclusively in the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Bachelor lives in his Bachelor Pad on the island in the middle of Lake Orangatanga. Dixie and Kiddy Kong can reach this island by swimming to it after they've cleared Doorstop Dash.
Eager for his upcoming date, Bachelor is faced with a problem: he needs a Rose and a Box of Chocolates to give to his girlfriend. When the Kongs first visit Bachelor, he'll give them a Flupperius Petallus Pongus, which he has no use for. However, by presenting the Flupperius Petallus Pongus to Bramble, the Kongs will receive the Rose that Bachelor seeks. The Box of Chocolates can be bought from Bazaar for twenty Bear Coins.
If the Kongs bring Bachelor both the Rose and the Box of Chocolates, he will trade them the Banana Bird that he's been keeping as a pet, so that he can go on his date. However, this "date" that Bachelor talks about remains a mystery for the rest of the game.
In the original Super Nintendo version of the game, Barnacle resides on the island in Lake Orangatanga.
