Funky's Flights II is the direct successor of Funky's Flights from Donkey Kong Country in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. It transports Diddy and Dixie to a previously visited world or location.

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Funky operates a Funky's Flights II in every world except for the Lost World. Like its predecessor, Funky's Flights, it is the only other alternative for Diddy and Dixie to access a world they have previously visited. Funky allows them to do so by renting the Funky Barrel, the successor of the Jumbo Barrel. This sends them to Crocodile Isle's world map, where they can select a world and then a level of it. The screen also moves up and down slightly when the Kongs are in the location.

When they first use the Funky Barrel in a world, Funky charges them two Banana Bunch Coins, a change from the original Funky's Flights, where DK and Diddy use it for free. For consecutive uses, Diddy and Dixie can use it for free. This is the inverse of when Wrinkly first saves the game progress for free in each world's Kong Kollege but then charges them subsequently.
In the Game Boy Advance version, Funky's Flights II received a lot of changes. Funky no longer offers flight services but instead hosts a unique Funky's Flights mission in each world, accessible from a Golden Barrel. The Kongs can no longer exit a world by completing a boss rematch, which were converted into time attack challenges hosted by Swanky Kong. Diddy and Dixie's only option to access other worlds is by selecting the option Gyrocopter from the GBA menu. However, the option is unlockable, because Funky wants Diddy and Dixie to complete the Aerial Loop mission in Gangplank Galleon to prove themselves capable of piloting the Gyrocopter.

Funky's Flights II was significantly changed in the Game Boy Advance remake. His location appears more simplistic, and Funky is repositioned from the left side of the screen to the right. The redesign makes it more evident of the location's setting on a giant surfboard.

Diddy and Dixie's only option to access other worlds is from the GBA menu's Gyrocopter option (which replaces the original version's Funky Barrel). This option is unlockable, as Funky first wants the Diddy and Dixie to prove their capability of using the Gyrocopter by completing "Aerial Loop", the Funky's Flights challenge of Gangplank Galleon.

Funky's Flights II, also referred to as simply Funky's Flights,[1] is an air travel service operated by Funky Kong in both Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2, the latter naming it Funky's Flights. It is the direct successor of Funky's Flights from Donkey Kong Country, but with a Roman numeral (II) added at the end.

Funky's Flights II takes place on a giant surfboard. There is a wooden shack in the corner with antennas on its roof and a few objects lying outside of it, such as a tire and a beach ball. The Jumbo Barrel is in the background, toppled over behind the "FUNKY flights" sign. Funky's surfboard from Donkey Kong Country is also lying on top of the shack. To reflect how Funky's Flights II takes place on a surfboard, the screen slowly moves up and down. For the Game Boy Advance version, Funky's Flights II has a simpler design, and Funky is on the right side instead of the left. The redesign makes it more evident that Funky's Flights II takes place on a giant surfboard. The screen no longer moves up and down, although there are fast-moving clouds in the background. Despite the screen no longer moving, the world map icon for Funky's Flights II, which is a light green surfboard with a palm tree and a shack, slowly moves up and down.

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Funky operates a Funky's Flights II in every world except the Lost World. At Funky's Flights II, Funky allows for Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong to rent the Biplane Barrel as a safer for quickly traveling between already visited worlds from the Crocodile Isle map than to defeat the same boss again. In each world, Funky charges two Banana Coins at first, but Funky's Flights II then subsequently becomes free for that world, an inverse of Wrinkly saving the game progress at a world's Kong Kollege for free the first time and then subsequently charging the Kongs in that world. Funky's Flights II has the exact same purpose in Donkey Kong Land 2.

Diddy and Dixie's only option to access other worlds is by selecting the option Gyrocopter from the Start Button menu. However, the option is unlockable, because Funky wants Diddy and Dixie to complete the Aerial Loop mission in Gangplank Galleon to prove themselves capable of piloting the Gyrocopter.
