Tomatoes[1] are large red tomatoes with sinister looking faces. Tomatoes appear in Donkey Kong 64.
Several Tomatoes can be found in the area near Funky's Store in the area Fungi Forest at night. If one of the Kongs comes too close to a Tomato, it will lunge at them and damage them.
