Tropical Tightropes is the twenty-fifth level in Donkey Kong Land III and the first level of Tin Can Valley. It takes place in a rainforest area. The Konveyor Ropes reappear from an earlier level, Jungle Jeopardy. Dixie and Kiddy slide across the tightropes to progress through the level. Many Buzzes appear around the ropes. Along the way, the Kongs must also use Barrel Cannons to go across gaps. It is comparable to Konveyor Rope Klash, a level from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!

After grabbing the letter O, the Kongs will need to enter another barrel and be shot into the Star Barrel on flat land.

At the start, the Kongs find a Steel Barrel in front of them. They must pick it up and carry it backwards to find a Koin. The Kongs must throw the Steel Barrel over Koin to the left edge of the screen. The Steel Barrel rolls back into Koin, defeating him and rewarding the DK Coin to the Kongs.
Bonus Levels[edit]
Tropical Tightropes has two Bonus Levels, listed by type:
- Collect the Stars!: Just after the letter K, Dixie use her Helicopter Spin to hover across the nearest abyss. She must enter a Bonus Barrel in the center of a wide pit. In the Bonus Level, the Kongs have 35 seconds to collect nine stars around some Konveyor Ropes and avoiding Buzzes along the way. When the Kongs obtain all the stars, a Bonus Coin appears at the end of the area.
