Coral Quarrel is the seventh level in Donkey Kong Land III. It is located in the north-east of Primate Plains and is the first level in this area. It takes place in the depths of a large lake, that may be part of the Great Ape Lakes according to the World Map. To complete the level, Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong must swim through narrow passages, between massive coral reefs, avoiding various enemies. Many Bounty Basses can be found in the first part of the level, taking advantage of their bulkiness in order to block the Kongs' way. As they strive to get through the lake, Dixie and Kiddy will also encounter Bazzas, Lurchins and a few Kocos. Enguarde's help will thus be much appreciated; after breaking his barrel, the player will be able to control the swordfish until the end of the level.
