The Giant Clam can attack [[Donkey Kong]] or [[Diddy Kong]] by moving around and spitting pearls at them. He has a simple attack pattern, however, as he shoots the pearls from the opposite corner that the Kongs are in. In order to harm the giant boss, the Kongs must trick it into shooting its pearls at a nearby diagonal, harmless Clambo in a corner, then quickly move out of the way before the pearl hits them. The pearls then bounce off this Clambo and smash into the Giant Clam. After each hit, the diagonal Clambo blinks out of existence before reappearing, typically in another corner. After being hit several times, the Giant Clam begins to move faster and shoot pearls at a quicker pace. Despite this, Giant Clam can be defeated after a few more hits. Like the other bosses, defeating it causes three [[Banana Bunch]]es to fall from the top of the screen.
