Template:Worldbox Gangplank Galleon Ahoy! is the starting area the Kongs venture through in Donkey Kong Land. The name of this world indicates that the Kremling ship, Gangplank Galleon, is somewhere near.
Aside from traveling on the coast of Donkey Kong Island, which consists of wild jungles and icy summits, the heroes also need to pass through Gangplank Galleon, anchored on the shore.
Gangplank Galleon returns from Donkey Kong Country. It hosts a boss fight in a level with a stingray fish, called Wild Sting, and also features two other levels. The first level has the Kongs climbing the masts of the ship, heading towards the top. The second one involves the primates lumbering on the deck of Gangplank Galleon.
