Template:Species-infobox Squidlies are enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns that are shot out of Turrets and their sub-species are Electrasquids. They can be defeated by any of Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong's attacks and can mainly be defeated by being hit against a wall. They move in a straight line in the direction that the Turret is pointing at. Inside of the Turrets, it is easier to predict when a Squidly will be shot by looking at the eyes peeking out of the Turret. According to its concept artwork, it is revealed that a crab controls the Turret. It may be either Snaps or Pinchley.
