A Squeekly (pluralized as Squeeklys[1] or Squeeklies[2]) is a type of enemy appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns, a purple bat-like creature existing in some levels of the Cave and the Forest, and other dark levels. They attack by simply flying straight forward, allowing them to be easily defeated with jumps, small peanuts, or having objects such as barrels thrown at them. Some Squeeklys fly higher than others and are more difficult to attack.

Squeeklys make a prominent appearance in the Crowded Cavern level of the Cave, alongside Chū Komorin and a Big Squeekly, appearing in a specific formation. There are some small Squeeklys that attack in the front, Chū Komorin that attack by flying up or down when they feel the Kongs approaching, and a Big Squeekly that chases them throughout the level, able to emit powerful sonic waves from its mouth to damage them. The smallest Squeeklys often appear in large groups. Unlike the Squeeklys that appear in other levels, these Squeeklys cannot be defeated in any way, although the large Squeekly displays difficulty avoiding large walls during the chase and is eventually knocked down by one at the end of the level.
