Skellirex
Template:Species-infobox The Skellyrex is an undead dinosaur-like enemy that first appeared in Donkey Kong Country Returns. These enemies are mostly found at the Cliff area of Donkey Kong Island, but they also appear in the level, Tumblin' Temple. Skellyrexes mostly move around from left to right, usually posing a minimal threat to Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. They can be attacked with any kind of attack method, but when attacked directly, they'll lose their bodies. The Kongs need to be careful not to collide with the Skellyrex head when it detaches from its body.
Skellyrexes also have a relative, known as the Skullyrexes. Skullyrexes basically hop around from left to right, and they can be taken out with any kind of attack. They're generally smaller than a Skelleyrex head. On a side note, a Skellyrex behaves exactly like a Skullyrex when it loses its body.
There are also some Skellyrexes that ride on mine carts, which are found at Prehistoric Path. These Skellyrexes can be taken out simply by jumping on them.
