Template:Species-infobox Mole Guards[1] are enemies first appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Mole Guards are Mole Miners armed with bombs and are only featured in the Cave area. Their first and most prominent appearance is in the level, Bombs Away where one appears on a separate track and throws bombs to try and stop the Kongs from reaching the end. Eventually, the Mole Guard tries and hurl a giant bomb at the other track but crashes into a wall before doing so.
In Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, they also appear in the Cloud level Mischievous Moles. This time, they appear in the background throwing bombs at the player.
