- “The Kremling's crowning industrial achievements are the huge factories they built in Donkey Kong Country. These factories do not adhere to special saftey codes, and are full of burning oil drums, faulty lighting, and perilous platforms. Enter at your own risk.”
- —Donkey Kong Country instruction booklet, page 20
Kremkroc Industries, Inc. is a large, heavily-polluted industrial factory-like area near the Gorilla Glacier that first appeared in Donkey Kong Country. Built by the Kremling Krew under King K. Rool's orders[1], Kremkroc is made up of a few large buildings, a large polluted lake, several mines, and a robotic giant Oil Drum boss named Dumb Drum which was programmed to squish the Kongs.[2] Whether it is related to the much larger factory that appears in Donkey Kong Country Returns is unknown, although the latter features arrangements of the former's music. In the Donkey Kong Country TV show, the place appears as King K. Rool's lair which the Mines are connected to.

References
- ^ "About Oil Drum Alley: Welcome to the wastelands. This area of the island, once lush and overgrown with island greenery, has been stripped of all its natural beauty. Instead, smog clouds the air and there is a general lack of greenery. King K. Rool and his factories are to be held responsible for polluting the place. The levels of toxicity are high, so don't spend more time than you have to in this slimy area there are many Items hidden in the factories." - The Donkey Kong Country Player's Guide, page 88.
- ^ "About Dumb Drum: This major baddie is unlike any other enemy on the entire island. It's a mechanical (sort of) beast. A giant skull and crossbones is painted on its side. This is a warning and should not be taken lightly! Dumb Drum, while having no apparent functional eyes, can sense where you are in its lair and will try to oust you by landing on your head. Don't let Dumb Drum get the best of you! Your bananas are much too important." - The Donkey Kong Country Player's Guide, page 104.
