They are yellow frogs and look exactly like Frogoons, the only difference being that Hopgoons are yellow in color. However, instead of inflating themselves in one place, Hopgoons move around the level and can hop over gaps. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong can easily defeat them with a jump, by rolling into them, with Rambi, or with a barrel. While Frogoons can be defeated by Diddy Kong's Peanut Popgun, Hopgoons will only be stunned by it.
