Giant Clam

The Giant Clam[1] is a large Clambo boss encountered in the last area of Kremlantis, Seabed Showdown, in the game Donkey Kong Land. Unlike its unmoving brethren, the Giant Clam is perfectly capable of moving through the water.

The Giant Clam can attack Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong by moving around and spitting pearls at them. He has a simple attack pattern, however, as he shoots the pearls from the opposite corner that the Kongs are in. In order to harm the giant boss, the Kongs must trick it into shooting its pearls at another nearby smaller Clambo, then quickly move out of the way before the pearl hits them. The pearls then bounce off this enemy and smash into the Giant Clam. After being hit several times, the Giant Clam begins to move faster and shoot pearls at a quicker pace. Despite this, Giant Clam can be defeated after a few more hits.
