Template:Species-infobox Vine Chomps are carnivorous plant enemies first seen in the game Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are blue, medium-sized Chomps that possess vines as their tongues. They only appear in the Forest world, and only appear in a few of the world's vine levels.

Vine Chomps are always located in the ceiling, and they hide in their leaves waiting for a Kong to approach its vine. When the Kongs grab onto the vine, the Vine Chomp then starts to slowly pull the vine back to its mouth, trying to eat the Kongs. Vine Chomps cannot be defeated by any means of attack. Template:BoxTop
