Template:Species-infobox Squidlies are enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country Returns that are shot out of Turrets and their sub-species are Electrasquids. They can be defeated by any of Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong's attacks and can mainly be defeated by being hit against a wall. They move in a straight line in the direction that the Turret is pointing at. Inside of the Turrets, it is easier to predict when a Squidly will be shot by looking at the eyes peeking out of the Turret. According to its concept artwork, it is revealed that a crab controls the Turret. It may be either Snaps or Pinchley. They are the Donkey Kong equivalent of Bullet Bills because they are shot out of cannons and go left or right.
