Variant of Puffton

Tufftons are enemies appearing in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switch port. They are owl-like members of the Snowmads, bearing a belt with their insignia, a mustache, and a helmet.

Tufftons are a stronger variant of Puffton, hence the naming convention. Like Pufftons, they fly around in a set area, and Tufftons can be distinguished from the orange protective helmet covering their head. The Kongs can bounce on them harmlessly, which is necessary for crossing wide gaps. Tufftons can be defeated by Cranky Kong using a Cane Bounce or if Donkey Kong throws projectiles at them.
