Template:Species-infobox Thug Slugs[1] are slug enemies in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They only appear in the first world of the game, the Lost Mangroves.

Thug Slugs crawl around a platform, damaging the Kongs upon coming into contact with them. They are normally vulnerable to any attacks, but when they hang from the underside of a platform, they can only be defeated with a throwing object, such as a barrel. Thug Slugs can be stunned briefly by shooting them with a popgun or ground pounding next to them.
