Dixie Kong facing Kerozene.

Kerozene is a huge, fire breathing Kremling who is the third-to-last boss in the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. He is the guardian of K. Rool's Keep, which did not feature a boss in the Super Nintendo version of the game, and appears in the level Stronghold Showdown, replacing the cutscene from the SNES version. His name comes from "kerosene", a chemical used to light certain lamps.

Kerozene attacks Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong with weakened Kleevers and a fire breath attack. In the first round, Diddy and Dixie must simply throw Kannonballs at the Kleevers. Then, they must grab the Kannonballs on the ground, avoid the flames the huge creature spits at them and then throw the Kannonball at Kerozene's head. Kerozene will breathe fire in three different directions. His gigantic fists sometimes smash against the ground, causing an earthquake to disable the Kongs, similar to the ability for Kudgel. For his final attack, Kerozene shoots a fireball that sets the ground on fire. One Kong must grab the Kannonball, jump on his hands before the ground bursts into flame, and throw it at his head to defeat him. After his defeat, he will fall with smoke coming from his mouth.
