Hot-Head Hop is the first level in Crocodile Cauldron, unlocked by defeating Krow. After, comes Kannon's Klaim.

[edit] Summary
Hot-Head Hop introduces the "Lava" levels of Donkey Kong Country 2. The level consists of jumping on platforms, and between the gaps are deadly lava. Klobbers found throughout the level can easily knock Diddy and Dixie Kong into the hazard. Krocheads are introduced to help get over the gaps. Squitter also makes his debut appearance. Squitter can spit web to take out enemies in his path, or use web as a platform to reach higher areas. The DK Coin and bonus areas are found high above and Squitter needs to use his web ability to reach them.
